If you’re an artist, why are you an artist?
I ask because there’s many different answers. Plenty of them actually. Now here’s another question: Why do you create your art? Again, they’ll be plenty of different answers.
Last question: Would you like your art to be remembered for eternity?
Now with that question, everyone should have the same exact answer…….YES!
You create art to stand out from others. You create art to showcase what’s inside your head that you feel others will share or if anything others could relate on. At the end of it all, you definitely would want your art to be remembered.
Imagine that, years or even decades from now, imagine hearing people talk about your art. What impact it has left for the world to remember you by. That’s for any kind of art you do. Museums would have your artwork on display. Your books would be read by future generations of writers. Your blogs would be read by future bloggers who want to view your work as inspiration. Can y’all feel the excitement in that?! That’s what I strive to do.
Point is, you want to leave a legacy behind. You’re not creating your art for absolutely nothing. You want people to know who you are. You want people to remember your talent. You want people to remember the art.
Remember your art.
